After School Program

After School Program

Enrollment for (Fall session) OPENS July 15, closes July 29th.

Registration will open for winter session in late October/early Nov.

When: Monday - Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Fall Session (Aug 20-Nov 21, 2024)No Care Sept 2, or Oct 31.

Where: SOROCO Middle School

Cost: $9 a day

Description: Students participating in the After School Program can take the SOROCO bus to the SOROCO Middle School. The After School Program provides a daily snack, fun arts and crafts, homework time, as well as free time for your child to unwind and have fun with their peers.

Friday Camp

Friday Camp

Enrollment for (Fall session) OPENS July 15, closes July 29th

When: Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Aug 23,30 sept 13,20,27,Oct 4, 11,18,25, Nov 1, 8, 15)no camp sept 6

Where: SOROCO Middle School

Cost: $37 a day

Description: At Oak Creek Friday Camp, students will be able to participate in free play with their peers, arts and crafts, outside time, fun activities, and field trips. To register please fill out the Friday Camp Registration Form please email [email protected] with any questions.

-What to know before registering- 

Please note that if after several redirections from the instructor, your youth is struggling to maintain appropriate behaviors, remain engaged with the class activities or is compromising the safety of themselves or others we will contact you to pick them up before the end of class. No refunds will be given in this instance. If this happens three times your youth will be unenrolled with a prorated refund for the remaining classes (if applicable).

Intro to Dance Basics Ballet, JazzFunk Dance

Sept10- Dec 10  every TUESDAY except Thanksgiving week.

Location MS auditorium

Cost $45/month (3 payments) - or $130 for the whole 13 week series. [email protected] for details and scholarship opportunities. 

5:00-6:00- Grades K-5 

In this program young ones will get a beautiful crash course in Ballet technique and jazz funk styling, resulting in sparking a love for movement. We explore ballet through a mix of exercises and games that work to introduce basic positions and terminology while keeping it fun and creative.  Incorporating elements from jazz, modern, ballet and hip hop, Jazz Fusion delivers a fun and energetic dance experience for all.

Fishing Club

2-5 grade Sept 11- Oct 16th

Spend some time at the Rod and Que Club learning about the sport of fishing, and take some field trips to fish at lakes around our community.

Girls On the Run

3-5th grade girls. Staring around 09/09 --90 min practice 2 times a week, TBA, and a race on Nov 9th- register here

In this program the older movers are able to dive right into the focus of performance in the styling of hip hop and a modern based lyrical style.

Lyrical dance is a style that combines ballet, modern and jazz dancing techniques. Hip Hop Is a vibrant and intense form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle street movements.

Parents are required to read the Oak Creek School Age Parent Handbook before their child attends our programs.
