Programs & Camps

After School Program

When: Monday - Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Where: South Routt Community Center

Cost: $8.50 a day

Description: Students participating in the After School Program can take the Soroco bus to the South Routt Community Center. The After School Program provides a daily snack, fun arts and crafts, homework time, as well as free time for your child to unwind and have fun with their peers. After Care Registration and Family Records forms are required and available - email [email protected]

Friday Camp

When: Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

Where: South Routt Community Center 

Cost: $35 a day 

Description: At Oak Creek Friday Camp, students will be able to participate in free play with their peers, arts and crafts, outside time, fun activities, and field trips. To register please fill out the Friday Camp Registration Form and send it to [email protected] or turn it into Oak Creek Town Hall.

Summer Camp

When: Dates TBA for 2024

Where: South Routt Community Center 

Cost: $35 a day 

Description: At Oak Creek Friday Camp, students will be able to participate in free play with their peers, arts and crafts, outside time, fun activities, and field trips. To register please fill out the Summer Camp Registration Form and send it to [email protected] or turn it into Oak Creek Town Hall.

Meditation for Adults

Come participate in a half hour guided meditation class every week. We will explore Instinctive Meditation, the discovery of finding your own path in meditation and realizing the benefits of incorporating meditation in your daily life. We won't be trying to sit stock still and not think. We welcome the flow and movement we experience as people living and working in the modern world. This is meditation for every person. Join me on a fun exploration of meditation. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a journal if you wish. This class is led by Andrea Abrahamson.

When: Thursdays 6:30-7 pm (starts Nov 30)

Cost: $6 drop in, or $25 for 5-pack.Scholarships available.

Where: Held at the South Routt Community Center, bottom Floor.

Adult Yoga

When: Tuesdays 6:15 pm - 10/10-12/12

Where:, with Melissa Dobbins at the community center, all levels welcome.

Cost: 4 pack $40, 10 pack $75, can be purchased at class.

Description: Registration Form can be emailed to [email protected], or dropped off at town hall.

Creative Open Studio

Creatives, writers, singers, crafters, painters, knitters! Whatever you love to do creatively, come bring your craft to the Open Creative Studio and share the space and time with others as we work together during this mid week break. Get out of your studio!  Get inspiration from what others are doing or get advice on projects. You could even find a new creative outlet when you join in with other creators. We are creating an artistic community in South Routt County, come help!

Where: Held at the South Routt Community Center, bottom Floor.

When: Wednesdays at noon.

Cost: This is a free class, but registration is required.

A current 2023-2024 Recreation Family Record must be on file before your child attends After School, Friday Camp, or Summer Camp.

Please send an up to date copy of your child’s immunizations

Parents are required to read the Oak Creek School Age Parent Handbook before their child attends our programs.
